Actor, Gbenro Ajibade, took to his Instastories this evening, to wish his ex-wife, Osas Ighodaro, a happy birthday.
The actress turned a year older today October 26.
Osas and Gbenro got married in 2015 and welcomed their daughter, Azariah, in 2016. In December 2019, Gbenro revealed that he and Osas are divorced.
Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has threatened that members of his group would henceforth publicly disgrace and humiliate corrupt Nigerian political office holders sighted in any foreign country.
Kanu stated this during a live Facebook session.
“Any day any corrupt Nigerian political office holder is sighted in any foreign country, such a person would be publicly disgraced and humiliated.” he said
Kanu who expressed sadness over the gunfire incident at the Lekki tollgate on Tuesday, October 20, added
“From today, October 25, 2020, if we get you abroad, we will disgrace you. Stay at home until you meet the 23 demands of the youths,”
The Sun Newspapers correspondent in Kogi, Emmanuel Adeyemi, and an unconfirmed number of persons have been shot in Lokoja on Monday, October 26, as suspected political thugs attack #EndSARS protesters.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the journalist was shot on his way to the NUJ Press Centre located at Lugard Road in Lokoja, while another unidentified person was also shot on the same road.
It was gathered that the thugs, who were moving about in five unmarked vehicles, also visited Cemetery Road Junction, where they shot sporadically into the air. Several other people were also shot by the rampaging gunmen, who engaged the protesting youths in different parts of Lokoja.
Meanwhile, shops and business premises hurriedly closed down as residents scamper to safety.

Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has said that the Alliance on Surviving COVID-19 And Beyond (ASCAB) which he serves as Chairman of the group, has identified the barracks of the soldiers who opened fire on protesters at Lekki toll gate in Lagos.
Recall that on Tuesday, October 20, EndSARS protesters who had gathered at the Lekki-Victoria Island tollgate to stage their protest demanding an end to police brutality and a call for police reform, were shot at.
Speaking when he appeared as a guest on ARISE TV on Monday, October 26, Falana, said his group has been able to trace the barracks where the soldiers came from.
“We have already identified the barracks where the soldiers left for Lekki, we have already identified the barracks.
The President was likely to have been told, soldiers were ordered so I want to believe that’s why it was not addressed and they said it was a rumour but I think the facts are emerging now, that indeed soldiers went to Lekki, indeed they fired at protesters and indeed some of the protesters at least two have been officially acknowledged to have died from gunshot wounds.”Falana said
He said ASCAB would establish an independent panel of inquiry to investigate the October 20 shooting of protesters at Lekki toll plaza.
“ASCAB shall establish an Independent National Citizen’s Panel of Inquiry under a number of conditions Composition of the Citizen’s Panel of Inquiry shall comprise representatives of credible and identified organisations of the youth that took part in the #Endsars protest movement, including the Feminist Coalition, among others; representatives of credible and tested civil society organisations,” he said
A policeman has been seen in a viral video cautiously carting away some food items looted from a warehouse in the Gwagalada area of Abuja.
Recall that it was reported earlier that the warehouse which is located near West African Examination Council (WAEC) office was reportedly invaded by a mob who carted away food items stored there by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).
A resident who captured the incident on camera expressed surprise at seeing the policeman who took a bush path with the food item.
Nigerian beauty entrepreneur and lawyer, Tara Durotoye has shared an insight into the level of destruction at the mall which houses her store.
Tara Durotoye who disclosed that she summoned up the courage to visit her vandalized store, stated that the destruction of economic assets in the mall alone is disheartening. She added that she has also spoken to other entrepreneurs who are broken as a result of the incident.

Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola alongside South West governors and some Ministers from the South West, paid a visit to Governor Sanwo-Olu on Sunday, October 25 over the loss of lives and wanton destruction witnessed in the state last week.
During the visit, the governor took the visiting governors and ministers round some of the destroyed facilities in the state.
While they were at the Lekki tollgate where the EndSARS protesters were shot at on October 20, Fashola found a secret camera and mentioned it will be used during the investigation into the gunshot incident at the Lekki tollgate.
